Learning Analytics continues to build recognition within international governments as an important next step in the future of education and retention, reports such as the US Department of Education’s Issue Brief and the White Paper written for the Australian Government’s Office for Learning and Teaching. LAK16 will keep up the momentum generated in earlier conferences as we continue to define who we are as a community and how our research can impact the important decisions facing education today.
